...the more winding roads i have to travel...

Assalamualaikum and peace be upon you…

Religion enabled society to organize itself to debate goodness, just as Greek drama had once done.
Edward Bond
O my God, what must a soul be like when it is in this state! It longs to be all one tongue with which to praise the Lord. It utters a thousand pious follies, in a continuous endeavor to please Him who thus possesses it.
Saint Teresa of Avila
Some persons think that they have to look like a hedgehog to be pious. William A. Sunday Don't grieve. Anything you lose comes round in another form. Rumi 'Tis all a Checker-board of Nights and days where Destiny with Men for Pieces plays: Hither and thither moves, and mates and slays, and one by one back in the Closet lays.
Omar Khayyam

Swoooosh…....drip…..plink…….!.....

Swoooosh…....drip…..plink…….!.....

Swoooosh…....drip…..plink…….!.....

Drop by drop the colorless blood of glorified child of Agnus falls down to marbles floor of the Temple of Immotus – one of the One True Master’s temple in this land of the north. The Caminus Canis bite still trenchantly vivid on his chest. So do the invisible lash wounds from the Regents whip… So do the shivers that come from a brisk brush with the ghosts of strayed Ecclesiastics…

ooooIIIIoooo

Day of the Terribles, 3rd dawn of the reign of Ganymede – bearer of the two streams, Year of the Caminus Canis.

After a long day on the trade route, the demon steered his silver chariot to the towers where Jester resides. From there, together with Jester and the mother-to-be Chenow White, the Demon will attend a feast thrown by Jester’s worldly sire.

Ahhh…

What a feast it was. A feast fits for kings. The feast was held at a tavern by a beautiful lake. Jester’s worldly liege is a great host. He fails not in showing his gratitude to his alliances, lords and ladies, warriors and peasants…

His lords and ladies, warriors and peasants were tremendously pleased.

Too pleased that they, though not all, turned from free men to the slaves of the Deceiving Angel… It makes the Demon paused in thoughts. How easy do we mortals be deceived with only a drop of the Elixir of Hell, the blood of Beelzebub… the promise of an ephemeral heaven?

Pleasures of pain… It makes even the most pious of men lost.

ooooIIIIoooo

‘Twas the time when the herds of Lucre heads to the stables, Day of the Weakening, 4th dawn of the reign of Ganymede – bearer of the two streams, Year of the Caminus Canis.

At the entrance of the creek where most of the traders quenched the thirst of their chariots, the Demon stood silently. He is inanimate by the hurt caused by the painful Mantras of the Regents – sent trough Ancorale Vox Voccis…

It all begins with an audience with a Master Mercator – Ol’ Mal Ig Ner. He is one of the Regents’ friends. Always, and always, his intentions were “intentionally good”. He has told the Regent – the Demon’s father that he wish of the Demon to be one of his warriors. He boasts that his army, though small, in the war for Lucre’s blessings is one of the best. He boasts of conquers of many Beasts of Trades…

Delighted were the Regents are…

Too delighted that they were blinded to the follies of ‘Ol Mal Ig Ner. The feats of this twisted mercenary were just tales. Tales meant for his own benefits trough the blood of others. The glorified child of Agnus blames not his parents for their blindness. No kings of the mortal heart would bear to see their princes and princesses live a life befitting not to their goodness.

But the mantras that the Regents chanted were to painful for the Demon’s heart…

Too painful that the sun seem to shy away from his life…

Too painful that it attracts the ghosts of strayed Ecclesiastics…

ooooIIIIoooo

‘Twas the time where the shadow slightly passed the pole, 5th dawn of the reign of Ganymede – bearer of the two streams, Year of the Caminus Canis.

Drop by drop the colorless blood of glorified child of Agnus falls down to marbles floor of the Temple of Immotus – one of the One True Master’s temple in this land of the north. The Caminus Canis bite still trenchantly vivid on his chest.

“…the Caminus Canis has shown signs of turning into a Cerberus…” thought the Demon silently. The events that have past during the two dawns of the Reign of Ganymede acts as the Caminus Canis sharp torturing tooths – prove that this thought of his is true.

At the Temple of Immotus… With hands on the holder of his Sword of Broken Faith, he knelt before the Shrine of the Tested…

He whispered the words that his Master would understand…

Only his Master would understand.

ooooIIIIoooo

Lord Demon,

It is with slight disappointment that I inform you that I realize I haven't been active as much as I want to in blogging lately.

Yes, I hope that it wouldn't be a permanent arrangement, this.

And you shouldn't be too modest about your own writing, if I may say so. I thoroughly enjoy your dark and sombre style.

Demonsinme,

I enjoyed this one and I have gained a much more understanding of the world that you create using your imagination. Amazing. Truly.

heya kiddo,

nice to see you back in this realm. thanks for the compliment.

but a note to you, what i wrote is not entirely imaginary, it is something that is somewhat imaginarily real or...reality seen and told in a slightly different way...

heya cosmic traveller, welkom...

do not fear the darkness as you'll find light in it.

fear do the light cause you might be blinded by it.

Mortality is definitely much too easily deceived, too easily tempted with the lure of what could be.

miss aida,

the things that could be, always seem to be as beautiful as the stars in the sky. but if one look so very tentatively, we'll see the dark backgrounds of the space behind.
