Dedicated to Little Nurin
from a father of none

On this day that I saw your dried tears,
I pledge my vows and lifted my spears,
and let loose a war cry so all could hear,
I paint my eyes black and pay homage to the devil’s lair,
and wage my soul to barter this unjust despair,
I ask him unto me he would give the hideous of stare,
so that I find this son of an unholy night mare,
and hunt him down with out any care,
once he lays under my anger snare,
I will gnaw his heart bare,
while life still dangles in sinful hair,
and I will drink his blood in cups of pair,
then I will pluck each and every one of his beastly hair,
and make a lace out of that bastard stare,
so all bestial man be aware,
this world shall never be his damned soul's lair.

and this is from Master Wailer
to the beloved
Little Nurin

there she is above - smiling down before us,
an innocence robbed by a beast with no name.
pray for her heavenly ascension we must,
and bring all hell to the devil without shame.

El Excaecavi Cabalero

___________ooOoo___________

Since the time the Demon Prince was born, there sat a man on a large boulder at halfway trough the path that leads to the peak of Mount Amoris from the edge of the Necessitudo Forest.

Ever the same since the Glorified Child of Agnus first learn to feel, he has watch that man vigilantly stand his post guarding the prized treasure of the Blood.

He sat at the same boulder in the same posture, never fidgeting nor does he twicth no matter what manner of trials nor the shape of lustful inveiglement the Fool and Ananke of the Major Arcana present him with.

It seems like since eternity, the man sat loosely with his back on the boulder with one leg folded close to his chest and the other straighten loosely while an arm rested on the folded leg while the other clutching a rested, but, unscathed rustic yet shining sword together with a war beaten shield.

He sat like that with his face forever facing West, but eyes traveling every where and never failing a sweet smile paved on a stream of shaded tears.

The tales that have been told from fathers to to fathers, says that the freedom of his body is anchored by the burden of the heart, for his heart can never let go the Treasures of Blood that he has forever guarded.

They say, since the dawn of time, he longed to roam the Necessitudo Forest, hunt its wild, bathe and drink from its clear sweet running rivers, feast of the lush full fruits from its highest of trees and rest under the blanket of the stars above.

But, if he fulfils this seemingly wanton longing, then the Treasures of the Blood would be desecrated by the hands of The Avidiorus.

An act that will for certain mark his death.

To the eyes of the Whites or even the Blacks, the Treasures of the Blood, worth none lesser than the Earthly Haven.

Possession of the Treasures of the Blood would satisfy many of their needs.

These treasures are not in the form of gems nor precious steel, but, aged trees that are surrounded by young green saplings which feed and quenched his thirst.

Another Treasure of the Blood that he sturdily guards is the flowers with white red laced petals that grew at the base of the boulder where he sat who’s scent crawl deep in to his heart giving him life and will as a living man.

Paradoxically, though all gave him life, he is dying slowly inside.

All the years he has sentries the Treasures of the Blood has taken a mortal toll on him.

El Excaecavi Cabalero, that is his name, a laden heart is his game.

The Cabelero is man of wealth, but the riches that he poses brought him only the happiness of Midas.

At the base of the boulder where he sat on, the sinless children of Mine love to play and the sinful adults love to lay.

Always they taunt him to join them only to have him decline with a smile paved on shrouded stream of tears.

Many a times they ask him," why must you bind yourself from plays and lays?"

Only to have him answered, "so that you can enjoy your plays and lays."

Ever so often the Treasure of the Blood said to him, "fly Cabalero like the birds of Necessitudo."
Only to have him answered, "no bird should leave his nurturing nest."

One thing though, for every answer to every question that he gave, he would always say it with his face, or at least his gleaming weary eyes set to the West.

The West, the land where each and every one of the citizen of the Mine go to wage their ante with the Master Dealer.

Intentions are similar, but, the bets differ.

Some would wage the soul of soulless king; some would wage their broken slings.

But the best bet would be Black Crown of a Humbled King.

Some thing must have happened, maybe at the boulder where the Cabalero sat or on the marbles where men place their bets in the west.

Usually, when the sun retire to his bed, the West could only be seen on the worn sheets where the fore head is sacrifice hinted ever so vaguely by the three aligned stars that sat above it.

But, for the past few weeks, the West seems to be ever more vivid, and those three aligned stars seem to shine ever so bright.

So bright that it humbles the brightest beacon there is, as if calling the Cabalero to come and lay rest his head there.

So powerful is the beaconing that subconsciously the Cabalero twitched.

Deep inside his laden heart a spark of calming yearns began to grow into a warm sweet flame.

Unconsciously, he stood up stretching his long inanimate limbs, face still to the West, and drew a long refreshing breath that has shy from him for eons ago.

An odd sense of freedom kisses his still laden heart.

It has been quit some while ago that the Cabalero feel like this.

As if there are unseen hands that help to shoulder all the burdens that laden his heart.

Without any thoughts, his long rested legs begin to inch, slowly but steady in the direction to the west.

With each small step, he feels more and more liberated as if he was a husband coming back to arms of a lovely sweet wife.

But the smoothness of his pace is interrupted by a nagging pain and pausing him.

The pain comes from the whispers of the Treasures of Blood.

"Where and why must you go Cabalero...?" the whispers travels trough the air.

"Why must you leave us..." it resounded.

He stop, turns and look at the Treasures of Blood, again, salty drops of tears stream under a smile.

A sad sweet smile.

To them he said what has to be spoken.

"Treasures of Blood - treasure of me heart, do not fear nor fret my parting you..."

"Forgive me as this is a journey that I have to take for long have I sat here and my soul I forsake. Take not my leave as a sign of hate, see it as a mend asked from fate," he said that while kneeling in the way a lover would when asking forgiveness from a hurt lover.

In that kneeling state, he pick up the bowed in sadness white laced with red flower. Her sad stream of dew trickled slowly form it soft velvety petals.

To the flower he said, "the rose of my heart," pausing while taking it close to his chest," know that I love you with the whole of my heart".

"If we where born in a different clan, under a different sun, and be given different names, this journey would never have a purpose to be done," he said slowly.

"But, we are what we are hence I embark on this journey to the West so far in hope that our hearts will not be marred," and turn his chest towards the trees.

"Trees of the Treasure of Blood, hear this be this journey I start," he whispered to them.

"My head is heavy so does my heart...," he said almost crying.

"But this journey I can no longer delay it start for with every moment that we leave the point where time start, death come kissing closer to my heart.

"I long to be as what a man should be, but not with your smiles I paid as fee. I rather be a stone than seeing an ant crawls up to your throne as you are the might of my flaing bone," he said softly.

"Nevertheless, what good is this sentinel if his heart lies in the arms of death? Thus this journey I evoke from rest, in hope that I once more be the best than rest and your honor I safe from very God's test," he ends his words sadly.

He stood, still face facing the distant West.

Slowly he starts that journey to the West.

While his fingers cut wounds that run deep in to his chest, reminding him the vow that he shall never lay to rest.

With every hasten steps, he prayed.

I come to your doors as man splayed,
humbled as a beggar whose friend is fright,
I tell Thee of the things that stole my might,
and all that has blacken my sight,
shine me thy Divine light,
and give my Treasures of Blood a good sleep at night,
If ever I lay emptied from might,
vouchsafe them from the fear's might,
and if ever return here is not written as my plight,
let my darken soul wake and guard them from night to night

He prayed continuously, and for a brief moment turns his face towards the Treasure of Blood that he left behind.

"Goodbye Treasures of Blood, the treasures of my heart," he whispered...

Goodbye.

BLACK VELVET WALL

Set in the heart of the west,
where warriors and martyrs lay to rest,
side by side with blasphemous crest,
stood the four wall covered with a black velvet vest.

From faraway men journey to the west,
in hope all burden there they could rest,
or have all the color would kiss their chest,
just to be the very best,
and distance oneself from oneself detest.

The west is where me head will rest,
and me body will be severed from the rest,
all in all to answer a bloody test,
that I pray will mend my crest.

In another time,
another tale will come.
maybe,
of the things the Demon saw as a Slave to a Slave.
But for now,
theDemon would only want to rest.
and rest the Demon will,
in the land where demons are lay still,
on hot sands that would test the strongest of will.
